According to the report, 9 out of 10 marketers are using content marketing of some form. Social media is the frontrunning content marketing vehicle in adoption rates this year, with research reports, videos, mobile content, and virtual conferences also seeing significant increases. Social meda industry newbie Pinterest has 25 percent of B2B respondents on-board.

When it comes to budget, B2B marketers are spending 33 percent of their marketing budgets on content marketing, up from 26 percent last year. And, the majority, (54 percent) expect to increase the amount they currently spend in the coming year.

What is the B2B industry's biggest challenge with content marketing? Producing enough content, with 64 percent of respondents giving that response.
