62 Ohio Biomedical Companies Receive Therapeutic Discovery Project Grants

The IRS granted around $15 million to 62 Ohio biomedical companies for qualified Therapeutic Discovery Projects that take place during 2009 and 2010.

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enacted in March

The Tax Court has held that, under the regs, a land surveying
firm is treated as performing engineering services even though it

The Ohio Commercial Activity Tax was fully phased-in as of March 31, 2009. For those taxpayers with Ohio gross receipts between $150,000 and $1 million, the tax is $150.
